Could you please introduce yourself to our readers (Birthday, Origin, Residence)?
 
James Beckford:
My name is James Beckford but you can call me (jc).I Was born January 9th 1975 in St Mary Jamaica.  I live and train in Orlando Florida but when the sthletics season start, i live and train in Germany since 2002 but this year i relocate to Innsbruck where am live and train for the summer season.
 
RheinSpringen-Redaktion:
Are you satisfied with your season until now? How did you feel? What could have gone different?
 
James Beckford:
So far am very satisfied with my season and everything is going to plan, 7months ago i ad knee surgery so its not 100% as yet but its getting there. Am feelinggood at the moment and looking forword to inprove my season best in Cologne 24th.
 
RheinSpringen-Redaktion:
Is this your first stay in Cologne? What do you like about Cologne? Have you visited the contest-venue, the Rheinauhafen? What was your first impression?
 
James Beckford:
No this is not my first time in Cologne, in 2007 i spend the summer season in Cologne where i live and train at the University Athletics Stadium. Cologne is a beautiful and multicultural city with people from all walks of life. I like that about Cologne.

What is your ambition for the 1. Buderus Kölner RheinSpringen?

James Beckford:
Am really looking forward to the meeting on the 24th, its going to be excitment and lots of fun.

To your mind, who will be favorite?

James Beckford:
To my mind who will be the favorit? I believe all competitors will be the favorit:

Do you have any plans for the Olympic Games in London?

James Beckford:
My plan for London first is to get the qualify mark and am hoping i’ll get it in Cologne then go to Jamaica for my championship.
 
RheinSpringen-Redaktion:
Do you got any special manner to shutdown the stress of the competitive sport? What do you appreciate in your free time? Do you got any hobbies?

James Beckford:
In my spear time, i enjoy dancing;singing, bowling, reading, cleaning my flat, cooking, spending time with friends and love once.
